MEMBERSHIP IN ORGANIZATIONS
Through the Knowledge and Technology Transfer Center (KTTC), Technical University – Sofia is a member of three international organizations for technology transfer:
The network connects leading universities, companies, and public sector organizations in Europe, facilitating partnerships and promoting innovation through events and joint projects.
The network includes 70+ internationally recognized members, both public and private, who fund or conduct cutting-edge research and innovation in various sectors. Network membership offers companies, in particular, a portal to access state-of-the-art science and technology, inform policy-making processes, and form strategic partnerships at all levels to update their research and development strategy and increase their efficiency.

ASTP is a leading pan-European association dedicated to knowledge transfer between universities and research institutions. It offers networking opportunities, professional development, and sharing of best practices.

EUA represents over 800 universities and national rectors’ conferences in 48 European countries, making it a significant network for higher education institutions. EUA can be a valuable network for TU – Sofia to improve educational and research opportunities, as well as the university’s technology transfer activities.

PARTNERS
The Memorandum of Cooperation between TU – Sofia and the Patent Office of the Republic of Bulgaria focuses on supporting the development of active educational and research and development activities carried out at TU – Sofia, through the competencies of the Patent Office, based on the national policy in the field of industrial property, as well as promoting, protecting and commercializing all intellectual property resulting from the activities of TU – Sofia, including that created in cooperation with external organizations through KTTC.

BULGARIAN NETWORK FOR TECHNOLOGY TRANSFER (BNTT)
The purpose of the memorandum with BNTT is to stimulate cooperation between the established centers and offices for technology transfer in the Republic of Bulgaria and to increase their capacity for effective transfer of knowledge and technologies both nationally and internationally.
